JC Duarte is a career journalist, with over 30 years experience in the field as a writer and editor. During that time, he has written about pretty much all there is - from covering general interest news stories to court proceedings and political meetings, from the arts and entertainment to sports and the automotive sector.

 

The list of journalists who have become authors and novelists is a long one. While JC doesn’t profess to be in the same league or compare himself to any of them, he does believe that good writing habits he has learned over the years and the experience as an observer, as journalists most often tend to be, are skills of infinite value… and those he strives to use every day.

 

JC was born in Portugal in 1958 and moved across the Atlantic Ocean when his parents immigrated to Canada in 1968. He lives near Toronto (Ontario), Canada.
